Now, you’re perfectly welcome to drive the 85 mins back to Auckland after the wedding, but it’s not the best option. Stay in the area!
1. At the venue (Valhalla)
Make a camping adventure out of our wedding and pitch a tent at the venue! There’s plenty of room, and when getting ready, you’re welcome to use any amenities you may need in the main house. This will cost you $5 per person, per night, and we would recommend coming either Friday night or early Saturday morning. You are welcome to stay Sunday night as well, if you would like to make the most of the Sunday brunch and continue celebrating with us!

2. House Rental
There are still a few houses available in the area, but get onto it quick. Some good house rental websites are:

To make best use of the buses available, we recommend you stick to searching within the Leigh/Matakana vicinity.

There are hotels and motels available in the area. If you’re reading this now, you know how to use the internet; just search for Leigh/Matakana in google or booking.com and use the guide of the zone above to get a good idea of the best areas to stay.
